The Cathedral Fellowship

An integral part of the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the Cathedral Fellowship is open to all Orthodox Christians over the age of eighteen – single, married, widowed, or divorced. Under the guidance of its officers and the Clergy, the organization seeks to promote fellowship in the context of spiritual, cultural, social, educational, and charitable projects and events.

Spiritual growth is encouraged through programs such as the Fellowship’s annual Pre-Lenten Lecture Series and other talks held throughout the year. Theologians and scholars renowned in their fields lead discussions on topics important to understanding and practicing the principles of the Orthodox Christian faith.

The Fellowship’s education program for adults also focuses on spiritually and culturally important areas. Programs have included classes on the Nicene Creed, Byzantine Chant, Greek folk dance, and Modern Greek language from beginner through advanced levels.

Throughout the year, the Fellowship holds events for purely social enjoyment. The most popular is the Fellowship’s annual Boat Ride, a wonderful evening of dancing and socializing while cruising around Manhattan and gazing at the lights of New York.
